Pelvic health and the pelvic floor
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles and connective tissues that support the bladder, bowel and uterus. It also helps with bodily functions like urination, defecation and sexual function.
GetUBetter app
It is extremely important to exercise these muscles during pregnancy and postnatally (up to one year after the birth of your baby) to ensure good pelvic health. We have designed an app called ‘GetUBetter’ to help you perform these effectively.
Use the pelvic floor trainer in the NHS South Yorkshire GetUBetter app.
