Wound closed with skin glue
Your wound has been closed with glue instead of using sutures (stitches).
What should I do now?
Keep the wound dry for 5 days.
If a dressing has been applied, then leave it in place for 5 days.
The glue will fall off as the wound heals naturally.
Do not pick at the wound or glue.
When should I seek further help?
If the wound opens, or you are worried about the wound in any way, come back to the Emergency Department, for a nurse or doctor to look at it.
