We have exciting news for kids getting ready for surgery at Barnsley Hospital. We've got something special just for you – the Little Journey smartphone app. It's like having a magical guide that takes you on a tour from the waiting room to the operating room around the hospital, all through your smartphone device.

Starting from 22 April 2024, there will be a change in the availability of pre-made formula bottles at the Birthing Centre and Antenatal Postnatal Ward.

The Barnsley Hospital gender pay gap report 2023 is now available. It outlines the Trust’s gender pay gap data for the year ending March 2023 alongside our efforts to address gender disparities in pay.

It’s World Down Syndrome Day (March 21) - and Barnsley Hospital is joining with others to create awareness of the condition. We spoke to Danielle Gill, mum of Phoebe Gill aged five. Phoebe has Down Syndrome and has been treated for her eyesight at the hospital.
